This is my Swedish Steel entry, the Stridsvagn 122. I built the kit using the Tamiya Leopards 2A5 as a base, HKCW's Strv 122 conversion kit, and Echelon Fine Details decals.
This was my first conversion kit, and I only ran into a couple minor problems with it (nothing a Dremel or some filler putty didn't fix). Also, this was my first experience with Echelon's products. I was very pleased with the results, and the quality of these decals is top notch to say the least.
Below are the pics. I'm still trying to bend the headlight guards (and am debating using solder rather than brass wire). Also, what color are the lenses on this beast? (In particular the dog house and the Cdr's sight)
As always, I welcome any suggestions for improvement.
There are a number more in my gallery.

nice one. another example of a tank not having to be filthy to be beautiful. It looks a bit surreal to me in a used state however, but just because this looks a bit like something you'd see in starwars or some other sci-fi phenomenon

Looks good. Now I've been inspired to start mine up again. Damn, now I've got to get some of those decals.
I had some dremel work as well. Accidently drilled through the roof at one point but managed to patch it up.

Thanks for the comments!!!
Paul - I don't know how far you are with your, but watch out when mating the upper and lower turret pieces (I had to do a fair amount of trimming and finally used a pant-load of superglue and a C-clamp to get it to stay together. Also, the front armor on the turret has a kinda funky fit that may require you to be a little creative.

Nice work there!
Im getting more and more inspired to get me one of these myself, especially since the new decals came on the market.
Did you use the Tamiya track, and if so, are they in the new glueable/paintable vinyl?
The antennas look a bit shiny, perhaps some paint on them?
Ill hope I can post my entry later tonight, but my internet connection at home were down yesterday, so well see about that.

Thanks Toke!
The tracks are the Tamiya tracks. They are the gluable type, and they accept paint very well, so you don't need to worry about it cracking/peeling off the tracks.
The antennae in real life aren't real shiny, however, I think between the light I was using and the flash, they looked shiny. You can also see the shine off the toolbox behind the model.
