Hi,

Just a question, we have 3 categories, but do you have to build something from each cat. or do I only have to build 1 model from a cat. of choise? I guess the last one, but I just wanted to be sure!

Oh, is a Churchill Fascine tank an allowed choise?

You can build as many entries as you wish lol. IMHO a Churchill Fascine tank would be ok.

Lol just wanted to be sure :-)

Hmm I've changed my mind.....I'll build a Sdkfz 251/7 C (new dragon kit). The fascine tanks need a little to much conversion (first I need to make a AVRE with the petard mortar, then I need to make the Fascine....that's not what I like to do)

The campaign starts 31-12-04 right?

Bty my reckoning that makes it 3 days to go to the start - just about right for my M8A1 ( I was thinking of converting it to an M8A2 with the girder jib, but can only find one side view).

I am deciding which pieces of the Italeri M-32 I will use with a TWS resin upper hull.
There will be more detail work on this one,as I will be doing a Diorama after too.

This was one I did last year.

i'm ready, already.

Carl, that M32 looks great !!! I'll have to do some extra work to get my T-2 up to that standard !!

I do note there is no MSG group association for posts; I assume Gunny will fix that soon.

Wow Dave....you're building an M8A1 too?................kewl.

I too have been considering the 'A2' version (and probably have the very same profile shot as you), but have hesitated for probably the same reasons as well......

hmm I "accidentally" bought me the AFV club M88 recovery tank (vietnam version).....so no halftrack anymore, my entry will be a M88 in Vietnam (think I won't change my mind again...)

Hi all, as it's the 31st I started my M8A1 this morning UK time - and got about 6 hours on it. It ain't gonna be a long build once the suspension is done.
Tread: The AFV Club vinyl tracks don't fit the sprockets too badly if you use the better detailed of the two pairs in the kit ( the ones for the non-motorised version). The 50cal will be replaced with one from the spares box, a mix of Italeri & Academy parts; and I have the Airwaves etched set. Other than these parts it'll be OOB.
