G'day guys
as most of you know ive been a bit stressed over my efforts in leading this campaign, i have not felt i have put in as much as i could, main factor that held me back was school, and the end of school year, which meant exams.
So, now we have around two months to the end, and for me, the S**T has really hit the fan.
I have nothing to build for this campaign, nor have i any money to buy anything for this.
which in the end means, although i so very badly wanted to, i honestly have no way to build anything for this campaign.
im not sure if i need to justify the reason why i am short on cash
:-) but lets just say X-mas and the fact im un-employed, heheheh....
so, here it goes....
If the entrants of this campaign feel that as the leader, i must build something, then im sorry to say i must step down as campaign leader...
if you guys dont mind me staying on as the non-building leader, then i will be most happy to.
just need to know guys, its really pressing on my mind.
cheers

How about extending the campaign? :-) I'll be very glad to have it extended.

hi David,
I understand your stress and sadness for not being able to build a model for your campaign... but IMHO it is not a necessity for the campaign leader to build a model for his own campaign in some cases, sure it is an inspiration for the participants to see a model from the leader but there are more important things to make it a good campaign.you chose a good subject; Korean war is the unforgetten part of military history though there were about 20 contries in this war. you brought it into sight and made us remember or pay more attention to this period of history. I see there are 39 people enlisted and this is a good number that shows interest to Korean war campaign. Please keep up leading it that way and never feel sad.

You're doing fine young man....
Like Ralph, I wouldn't complain about an extra month, or even two, maybe I'd be able to finish another project.
Besides I know this senile old gezzer who just might find something in the closet....... :-) :-) :-) :-)

yeah I know... it's got to be something used by the OZ folks.....LOL LMAO

Don't worry about it mate. We're on the same boat.
In fact I'm one of the first ones to have signed up yet I still have no idea what to do. I have 3 kits to that'll fit the campaign but they're not the ones I want to make.

I have been unemployed for the last 1 1/2 years, but my friends help me out and I am still in good spirits.
You have friends here to mate! And I would'nt be supprised if you had somthing to build soon.

Hi David:

As one of the first to sign up, I have no problem with you continuing as the campaign leader. Although I have finished my project, I also would not object if you decided to extend the deadline.

David,
My response to your post goes along with the other mates here sir, I personally would like to see a build from you, but I don't feel that it's an absolute necessity.
As the campaign leader, maybe it will give you more time to organize the finalities and close outs of the campaign...Or maybe someone might just leave a little something under your Christmas Tree?!? (:-)

Hey Dave, I have a M7 Priest in 1/35 scale by Italeri that you can have. The Priest was used during the korean war. Some how you will have to change it over to a M7B2, I can't see that being to hard to do...right. Anyhow if you like, i'll mail it out to you. PM me and then you can get into the game.

mates
Im really overwhelmed with the support you have all shown.
i guess i will stay on as leader, extend the campaign by more months...if you guys are ok with that, lets say...May? or is that way too long?
Engin, thanks for your kind words mate, i really do hope i have been able to shed a little more light on this war.
Dave, Ramon, Garry, Keith, Mark, Jo :-) phew, think i named you all, thanks for your support also, but please guys, dont go sending me kits you have worked for simply because i cannot manage getting one right now myself.
this was not a sympathy vote, although i greatly appreciate your kindness, i just wanted to know where i stood, and i now do.
then again if any of you really dont want any kits... :-) jokin guys.
Anyway, i hope you all know how much i appreciate knowing you all.
makes daily life just that bit more easy knowing i have freinds like you.
cheers

Hey Dave, it has nothing to with any of that. I won't build it nor will i ever, no intrest in WWII. I won it at a model contest, door prize i think.
