Hello all, I could use some more enlisties in the campaign "Capture Aideed" , yes the name seems to be spelled wrong. I've seen it spelled both ways but unfortunately i picked the wrong one. Anyhow the campaign is an easy build. The start date is not for another 4 months and you have 7 months of build time. The completion date is the 12th year anniversary of that dreadful Sunday "Black Hawk Down" So come on over and join what few members we have and make it a bunch. I know many of you's joined others campaigns and it might be pushing it, my self 10, and you think you have the time. Thanks guys.

I think it's an interesting campaign, but I'm not sure yet about joining it, because of time.....I can only decide just before the start of the campaign!
/edit: oh hell, why not? I've enlisted hehe

Howdy Graywolf,
Welcome aboard! Since I feel that this engagement is a prime example of the true courage, and 'leave-no-man-behind' principle present in the modern day Soldier, I am proud to be a participant in the Campaign, and glad you decided to join up with those of us who have formed a small band of modeler's who are saluting their valiant efforts and sacrifice by building examples depicting the bravery that was present that day in Mogadishu.
If there's anyway I can help, don't hesitste to let me know.

Ok, I've enlisted. The timing works out well as all of the other campaigns I'm working will be done by then. I''ll be building either an AH-1W Cobra or an M1025 HMMWV.
Or both. :-) :-)

Yahooooo!!!! Another one for ya mother
Mighty glad you decided to join us David, and if your choice is the Hummer, try for the Tammy kit. As I've already said in another thread this morning, it is a pure joy to build!
Tread.
And, just in case anyone needs a quick link to join up, here it is......
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Campaigns&file=index&req=showcontent&id=49
wish I knew how to add a link with just the words "Enlist here" instead of the whooooole URL.......
how does one do that?

I'm In! Wow, my first campaign! I haven't done modern stuff in a while. I'm normally a WWII guy. But I've met CW2 Michael Durant and a few of the Rangers who were there, and a comrade in my Guard unit was a Marine in the first unit to land in Mogadishu, so I have an indirect interest in the operation. I'd be honored to contribute to this project.
