G'day guys
for anyone whose in Remember Korea this should be fairly interesting.
it does mainly focus on us Aussies, but it does have some thigns from other countrys...
such as this short diary entry form a belgium nurse..
"A Belgian Sister and myself were holding a massively wounded Turkish soldier who had just died. And that gentle sister was softly singing to him, a lullaby from her home province. And her look of such great compassion and tenderness I shall not forget. And I am very glad that I had met and worked with
Sister Marie-Josephine, of Belgium"
Now as grim as it may be, remember, you can work on ANYTHING that was in korea, if you would like to make a belgium field hospital in the rocky hills of korea, then go for it.
Variety guys, i love what we have had so far, but i have realised it is very one sided, USA stuff (maybe becuase most of the entrants that have finished are americans, hehehehe, thats fine)
but if your from anywhere pother than the us, before you start your sherman or your corsair, have a think about building something from your country, make it a silent tribute to your forfathers who payed the ultimate price for you and your country
heres the link to the site
Aussie Korean war phot album
cheers
p.s. dont think i was having a go at you yankees i was just trying to get people behind their own countrys, as you guys have done

Thanks for the wonderful link, David...
As you may know, the Korean War is a particularly favorite subject of mine, because of my Fathers participation in the battle to free the opposing countries, and anything I can get on the subject is greatly appreciated. My Dad has spoken alot about the Aussie's and their participation in this war, and he has nothing but good to say about those men...Unfortunately, not too much was said about this battle and was greatly overlooked throughout history, and it's people like you that can help to bring to mind the great sacrifices that ALL of the countries men that were involved in these battle's, like the current Remember Korea Campaign that is going on right now...Here is one of my favorite links, for anyone that wants to spend some time reading...It's a collection of documents all about the Korean War, classified info, telegrams, etc., and also the Aussie's participation in this war. Here's the link...
