Hi all,
I managed to complete my first entry for the Quiet professionals campaign. I't's a Lancia Lince from the 2nd Celere Dept of the Italian Police in service between late 40s and early 50s.
The vehichle it's a clone of the Daimler MKII Dingo manufactured by Lancia in Italy since 1943 onwards on the base of a few captured vehicles during the war in North Africa. The only difference is in the Breda 8mm MG mounted on a "ball" support in the front shield.
For what concerns the unit the Celere Dept (literally "fast moving") was a special airborne unit of the Italian Police equipped with the Lince and the Humber scout car.
The kit is a resin one from Crielmodel an Italian manufacturer.

The closest colour match is the one in the last pic.
I hope you like it. If you want to see more pics just follow this link...
As usual comments, critics, suggestions are more than welcome!!!
Ciao

Ciao Fabio!!

Excellent model (just like the Sahariana)!!
It's "strange" to see this models in a different delivery!

I also enjoyed the subtle weathering!

What's going to be next?

Auguri di Lisbonna,

What's next? A scratchbuilt conversion of an Italian M113 derivative called VCC2 used by the Carabinieri (the Italian military police) to face street riots!!!

Fabio, brilliant mate! This, I believe, represents one of the main features of campaigns, not only do we get to see and learn from each others’ model building abilities/methods, we also learn a bit about various countries’ units (military and other), the equipment used and how this equipment was utilised. All this, plus information regarding various model manufacturers and their products quality and range is also passed on.

Fabio, Thanks for the excellent model and the information.
