No you want the following kits:
Leopard 1 from Italeri (not sure the kit number but its a I (one) A4. It needs a conversion to make it look right mapleleaf models sells that if you dont bash it yourself. That makes a Leo C1
The Revell Leopard 1A5 can be made into a Leopard C2 using the conversion from the same company. Check www.mapleleafmodels.com and www.trackjam.com for details.

No, the Canadian army doesn't use Leopard IIs. They use a variant of the Leopard 1. Revell of Germany makes a Leopard 1A5 that is more appropriate for a Canadian tank. They may use other Leopard 1 variants, I am not too sure.
Here is a review of the Revell kit: http://ipmslondon.tripod.com/armourreviews/id7.html. Revell's Leopards are reboxed Italeri kits with some re-tooled items.

The base kit for the Leopard C1 is the Italeri Leopard 1A4 kit #224. It is out of propuction, but still available on ebay. I have a few in stock. The conversion kit is TJM-001 or MLM-1006. Same kit, just with different box art.
The base kit for the Leopard C2 is the Revel Leopard 1A5 kit #03028. also out of production. The conversion kit is MLM-1010. You can also use a Revell Leopard 1A1A1-A1A4 kit #03017 but that is also out of production. MLM makes an upgrade kit (MLM-1014) that gives you all the parts not in kit #03017

Forgot to add the C1 conversion is excellent and I am looking forward to getting my C2 conversion. Both builds are on my list for 05.

So maybe we'll see one included in the Canadian Build being discussed in the Canadian Community Forum?
