I say go with the KV1. I think there will be a lot of T34s in this campaign since it's such a popular tank. Tamiya, and Dragon have multiple relases of different variants. I think those IS and JS tanks are just butt fugly.

Try something different.

The Tamiya KV-1 oob is a good clean build, and if you can afford to add Model Kasten or Fruil tracks, its a knockout. Then if you want, damage some fenders, apply some mud, add some unditching beams, and you're good to go

Good luck on whatever choice you make.

My first reactrion wos of corse the T-34, but like Shirmies said, there will probably be tons of T-34s... I would say go with T-35 or T-28 (if you can find them) or T-26 - although not completely Soviet, it does look cool. Another tank I think is really cool is the IS/JS-3.

However, perhaps you would like to build some trucks instead?
