I remember the interior of the M113 to be painted in a light green colour. Is it always that kind of light green in use today ??. What would be the closest match to reproduce it ??

Yup, still Seafoam Green interior. You will get many answers on the closest match to Seafoam green. Some say Tamiya Sky is a good match. I prefer Testors Model Master Pale Green.

Luc, it depends how new you want it. The newest ones here on base are painted gloss white inside, except for the rear ramp and hatches which are the exterior green.

Also, new colors are available since this post was last active in 2005. Krylon's Pistacio spray paint is dead on for semi-gloss Seafoam Green. It is a perfect match.

Three options to get a dead on Seafoam Green:
1. Check the net/auto supply store for Seafoam Green Automotive touch-up paint, specifically for 1953 Fords or 1961 Chevys, Caddys, Buicks, Olds and Pontiacs. PPG , Dupont, Ditzler and others have it available.
2. Check out Model Car World Automotive Finishes
The paint codes are 5331 in the Ford section and 6100 in the GM section. I had a Seafom Green 1961 Chevy Belair so I know from this color. The first time I ever stepped into an M113A2 and saw the color of the interior, I thought about me old rolling wreck.
3. Mix it yerself. Blue, yellow and white. Start stirring.

Really, an eight year old thread? Guess it's true what they say, once it's on the Internet, it's there forever!
Meh-Tamiya Sky with a drop of green!

If the Good Webmeister intended for eight year old threads to disappear, he would've programmed them self-delete after seven.
