Here ya be, ya salty mates!!! This is my official post of entry for this 1 /125 scale U-99, by Revell Germany.
Had a really good time with this one, will probably be my only entry for this campaign.(some of you guys are just burnin' up the kits!). More pics are in my gallery(some close-ups also) for anyone interested.
Thanks!

Outstanding build Mark! at first glance I thought it was the ROG 1/72 U-boat, great job! Sure you wont think about building another sub?
Best regards,
Garry

Greetings, Gary, and thanks for the good remarks of my build, sir...I would really like to commit myself to building another sub(or two, even)but I've got so much that I need(and want!) to do Gary, and unfortunately so little time...I'll make you a deal, though...If I can, I will definitely build another entry for this wonderful campaign...I hope to see more of the same at the big A in the future....all too often the sailors are forgotten in this hobby world! Thanks for such a great campaign, Gary, and like I said, I will build another if I can!
Sincerely,
Mark "Gunny" Smith

Very nice looking build Gunny. This campaign was just what the DR. ordered. I had so much fun with mine too. I agree that too often we forget the other sides of the hobby.

Ahoy Gunny!
I have been looking at your gallery and must say that you have done a good job from an old model!
I like the subtle weathering and the pennant for the score!
You had fun with this didn't you?
As Garry said, if you can make another sub, and if you need any help, please call! I'll do wathever I can to help (sometimes I am a little late-ish, like now :-) )
Congratulations Gunny!!!!

Thanks, Skipper...
I haven't done a sub in a long, long time, was a little skeptical of how it might turn out, but yes, I had a ball building this old girl ...I had a little bleed over in a few parts on the hull between the two colors, but other than that I didn't screw it up too much!
