Moving along with all these finicky small parts...feel like I get no where, yet it seems to be shaping up.... :-)

Looks very good John. And as per our earlier conversation, it seems you did a bang-up job on straightening those jibs out.

Hey John! Those the turret parts I sent ya?
Keep us posted on this one. I've been thinking about getting this conversion. Are there any interior parts?

Looking good.
I'm trying to get to a picture taking point of my T-2 (M31) but I've got lots of little things going.
A couple suggestions:
-- I see only the grouser box on the front deck -- there should be another up on top. Did you leave it off on purpose ? They were welded on, IIRC, and so not usually removed by crew.
-- The big box on top should sit more toward the front & side, almost hanging over, at least in the TM pix.
-- The side doors were welded shut & the hinges removed. The vision port was removed from the left side door, but retained on the right side door.
I had same problem with warped boom & fixed it -- that was only quality problem with the Calibre35 kit that I found, otherwise it is excellent. I also have the DES conversion & the Calibre35 is much better, IMHO. Just a shame neither did anything to correct the turret shape.

I have just found a good reason not to glue that upper grouser box.
I have modified my turret to correct the shape & probably took too much out of it.
A quick fit shows a major conflict between grouser box & boom
Looks like I'll have to sand down grouser box (take "legs" off bottom) and put a spacer ring atop the hull to boost the turret up.
Hopefully that takes care of things ....
