If I'm not mistaking, today is March 17th........at least both my computer, calendar and mobile phone confirm this :-)
Capture Aidid campaign:
START DATE: March 17th, 2005
COMPLETION DATE: October 3rd, 2005
I think we can start building today right?
So what are your ideas for this campaign?
I just bought myself the Academy M966 TOW missle carrier which I will use to build a M1025 Humvee. If I've got time and money for it I'm also gonna build a Little Bird gunship.
Cheers,
Martin

Got home early from work today and started the chassis on the Tamiya M1025. Anyone know the bumper markings for a Task Force Range one?
I popped open the plastic on the Academy AH-1W tonight and got a set of Two Bobs "Whiskeys in the Mix" for it yesterday. Still need to look if anything other than the stencils can be used on this bird for this build.

Jeff,
No need to get both kits and cross-breed them. All the M1025 parts are in the M966 kit. They just added another sprue with the M966 specific parts, a couple crew members and some gear. It is the best value of the Academy HMMWV kits.
I may just have to jump on board with an AH-6J Littlebird to go with my MH-60L DAP and MH-6J that I already have built.

That's right, all part are in...I've just got to leave the TOW of and the rocket tubes out and place a .50cal and voila...

Ive got a diorama in mind myself... The Insertion, will include one Crashhawk, a little bird, portion of the Target building, rangers, and deltas.
Now god knows if i will actually finish it on time, let alone start it!
Cheers

Hmmmmm...
Game Time!
The possibilities are pretty wide with this one. I have a reasonable amount on hand I could use but I have a hankering to make a build a Blackhawk. But, then again a dio with some Delta Figs would be a possibility too!
Hmmmm.
