well what toi say , i just love that lil bucket!! The green one. There is another? aha !!!! yes yes i love the red one even more !!!!!
Very nice work there, and ur weathering looks really good. The whole build is a sure step upwards for ur skills my friend. Keep doing it well.

Nitpick: The bucket needs some weathering

G'day Andy
Very good mate, your skills are progressing with each sherman :-) seings its all you ever do these days! :-)
One suggestion would be do dust up that bucket a lil seings the tank itself is fairly dusty.
Cheers mate

Hi mate,

Great work you've done there. Only 2 thing I don't like but that has more to do with personal taste then with the techniques you used cause the ARV looks great!:

- I don't really like the chipped star on the right side of the hull.....half of the star is missing, a little overdone

- The red bucket.....not likely that the crew used this because I wasn't really camouflage....they would have painted or they would have get themselves a new bucket....

But as I said, you've done a great job, the things I mentioned are really personal things, somebody else may like it :-)

Cheers
Martin

Thanks for all the comments guys, I certainly will be dusting the bucket up more.
Martin the reason I have the bucket red is to break up the OD a bit. I was thinking along the same lines that the crew probaly wouldn't have a bright red bucket :-)

Nice Andy. That red bucket really does stand out too much, but I like the contrast that it gives with the cammo finish - it grabs the attention and makes you look more closely at the rest of the model. Are the tracks rubber or steel chevron type? I'd have drybrushed the tops of the chevrons with a bright metalic paint if they're the steel type.

Hi Andy, excellent build!! I like the tracks in there new home :-) And as for the tracks I beleive they are the metal type. I will check the instructions and let you know. Your weathering is superb. This is one of the finest jobs you have done so far. Oh and I would beat the heck out of that red bucket or paint it to get rid of that bright color. Cheers Kevin

Lord Anzac, aka Lord Kiwi, aka Young Jedi Type Dude

This looks very good. The weathering applied makes this one look like its been around the block a few times. The nose on, and the front quarter view, really accent/show off the shading and blending of paint and weathering----it "looks heavy"----you have kicked it up a notch with this build my friend.

Plopping this one on a simple base with one or two of your excellent figs would really tie this whole thing together. I like the bucket, (which is becoming your "signature" by the way), and it looks like you are going to rough it up a bit, which is good. Well done.

Steve

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the comments. I was going for the effect of this tank being around a while.
I will hopefully do a base soon. but want to take a bit of a break from this model lol

Thanks Carl, I was planning on adding the cables when I added it to a base. Whether or not I was gonna have to boom up.
