Ah Vinnie, excellent treatment of my all-time favourite vehicle! Can't wait to see it with the paint on! BTW I note you refer to it as Tamiya, so presumably this is a reboxed US version? Mine is Italaeri. What did you do with the oildrums LOL?
They don't give you an aerial mount in the kit, just the poxy thing to be stuck on the back of the turret, but most photos seem to show a full "star" aerial mounted on the rear mudguard, or would that be a command version?
BTW I've seen some wartime footage of one of these used by Hitler Jugend division in 3 colour camo & the commander wearing Italian camo jacket. Can't remember what the turret numbers were, sorry.

Thanks Steve, this is the old Italeri one as you say, reboxed as Tamiya, sent from LuckyModel in Hong Kong. The oildrums along with the very square jerry cans have been consigned to the spares box! It will be done in 3 colour camo.

Nice clean build so far on your Puma. PE looks good too.
I know this is a Tamiya re-box of an older Italeri Sd Kfz 234/2 Puma, but does this Tamiya one offer any better tooling over the original ?
Will look awesome once painted
Cheers !!

Robert, I can only barely remember the Italeri version, but I was surprised at the sharpness of the moulding when I opened the box. I knew it was the Italeri one before I ordered it, maybe it's just Tamiyas' production methods?
