I'm in......I want to do at least one dio, and if I've got time for it a second....
Eric, I just read the article about this dio in the Dutch/Belgian Modelmagazine.....very cool, looks really nice. You can't use it as campaign entry though if you mean that with "and here is my pic for this campaign". Ýou've got to build a new thing, somewhere between 24th may and 30th april (2006).
But you showed already you can make something really nice. I sure will use the article when making my own Nam dio(s)!

I´m in!
I´ll try to make a long await project, to build a Gun Truck starting from the M35 from AFV, I know that there is a complet kit for it, but, as I said, it´s a long long project, so I think it´s time to get the hands on it...
Maybe I could finish a Patton meanwhile...
Cheers

I'm all signed up too. I will be building a lot of the gun trucks. If any one needs some info for the trucks let me know. I will be glad to help you out if I can. I have a lot of photos and know a lot of the crew members who served on them.

Hi Dave!
I´ll need your help, indeed!
I´m planning to build a gun truck with the M35 + quad .50 (from the M16 Tamiya), I´ve seen some pics of the Nancy GunTruck, but I´m sure there is another less known of this type, I got the Gun Trucks book from squadron, if you could help me, feel free to contact via email: armouredsprue AT bol.com.br or staff_paulo AT armorama.com.
Thanks on advance!

G'day guys
Well isn't this great, we already have a hefty list of participants and its been less than 24 hours!
Chad, NZ had no armour, or cav units in Nam, they sent troops from their 1st RNZIR (royal new zealand infantry regiment), which were then placed into australian infantry battalions, these being the 2, 4, and 6RAR, which were then designated RAR/NZ (royal australian regiment/new zealand), these would be the only ANZAC regiments of the war.
Now, although they didnt bring any armour of their own they did bring mortars of their own, and 105mm howitzers of their RNZA (Royal new zealand artillery), which were used from NZ base known as "the horseshoe", just next to the australian command base (Nui Dat).
I believe they also had their RNZAMC (royal new zleand army medical corps).
Hope that little history lesson gave you a little more insight :-)

I can only say that is going to be a "wet thing" and no, it's not a submarine
Looking forward to start this Campaign - but still have a few things to finish first!

Well, I've "enlisted" (Again?! Thought I'd already done that back in 1969!). Sounds like a great Campaign and the longer time will give us all the opportunity to maybe try a couple things. I'd like to do a diorama involving a M-48, but the Air Force guy in me says I should be true to my roots and do a "wingy thing". I've got time to work that out. Thanks and looking forward to it,

Bingo David :-)
I still don't know which one and if it going to be just display or a Dio.... I am looking forward to make a Dio!!
We shall see

Enlisted today. This might give me the excuse to get all those parts out and finally build that M42 Duster I have had in the closet since the early 80s. If not I have other projects which would be perfect for this

I'm fairly sure that you can only issue one award for a group build.
I do have an M48A2/3 and the Legends sand bag armor set. I may have to step up to try this one.

I have just enlisted... attractive campaign topic and plenty of time to actually finish the model.
I'm planning to finally finish my Pathfinder figure and place it in a vignette... a fallen tree trunk, some jungle vegetation and water effects. Lots of new things and techniques I have to try. Anyway, you can see the figure in progress in my gallery: Pathfinder
Let the games begin...
Mario.

I know someone who witnessed this event, so someone could do a dio of this. I had a friend who was on a Cruiser Escort in Nam, he was on a double fifty mount when he saw some VC running hell bent for leather out of the bushes along a river bank, as soon as he was about to light up the VC, some GI's came hightailing it out of the same bushes. About five seconds later a Bengal tiger comes out of the tree line right after them.

Good to have you with us Maki.
But i think i'd better remind you all, you cannot use something you already started before the campaign began.
Your entry could only had begun contruction on or after the 2rth of may this year.
Sorry guys, rules are rules, this is just the way Campaigns are.
Cheers

Plese refer to the third post in this thread. You may have a similar set up for your Korea build, but it won't happen as an "official award".
