Hi all,
I haven't heard of the Tank Destroyers campaign for a while.
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Campaigns&file=index&req=showcontent&id=73
I really would like to continiue the campaign, not only because I like the subject but also because I want to finish it for the man who started this campaign, Garry Beebe.
Therefore I'm willing to become the campaign leader here. I just want to see the campaign finished and that everyone enjoys it.
I do not want to become campaign leader if ANYONE does not want me to be. Please understand it feels a bit strange to take somebody's place who I don't want to miss. So if anyone thinks someone else should take lead of this campaign I won't take the lead.
So, tell me how you feel about this. I'd like to see this campaign being finished and that every enjoys it, and I think so would Garry.
Martin

I was wondering what happened to that campaign. I had forgotten that it was Garry Beebe's idea. Think we have to go ahead with it as a rememberance to him. Plus it was a brilliant idea.
More than glad to have you as campaign leader.

Drive on. I wonder if Jim can change the official name to Garry's Tank Destroyers?

I think that's a good idea. I wanted to include a tank destroyed in the Garry's campaign banner too but I decided to leave it out because of the lack of space you have in a banner. Still, this is one of Garry's campaigns!

The tank destroyers campaign's status is still "proposed." Maybe the name could be changed and the campaign made official at the same. Two birds, one stone type of thing.
I have a kit or two picked out and am looking forward to this one...

I would also like to see this campaign move forward and the new name sounds like an appropriate tribute to Garry.

Echo others comments and think you'd be an outstanding "Campaign Leader". I've had my Dragon JagdPanther since Garry started this Campaign idea a while back and have been gathering items for the diorama I've got planned while waiting to get started on 1 May.
Also most definitely concur on having the name/banner changed to dedicate this to Garry. He'd seemed as excited about this as he was about "Dreadnoughts". Of course that was the impression I got from "talking" with him, that he was enthusiastic and excited about everything modeling. A fine tribute.

Hi mate,
Thanks for the support. I won't change this banner I've already made but I can make a new one for Tank Destroyers in honour of Garry like the one I've already made.....would that be ok?
