Hi Hilbert,
the yellow pipes are what Matt guessed. Just masking tape. The interior is fully detailed and already painted. It would break my heart and my nerves to have this part of the vehicle spoiled.

The kit is built OOTB believe me or not. This is one of the Panzershop (of Czech republic) so-called multimedia kit (resin, PE, metal tracks, clear foil, decals, thread and a CD-ROM as instructions).
377 resin parts, 290 PE ones. The only extra work was to redone some ill cast tools, add some details to the big jacks (mainly hydraulic tubing). I add to correct the location of some parts ill located in the instructions. Fortunately, the CD-ROM offers a large amount of pics of the real beast.
The real problem is to find on the pics of the model acting as instructions where to set the various parts as no locating holes, pins or marks are present on the parts themselves.

But where would be the pleasure without some difficulty :-)
I'm finished with the build, I just started the painting this evening.

WOW! This is one busy model. I can't wait to see this one done for sure. You could spend a long time staring at this one and see something different every time. You build some great examples. A lot of detail for the eyes to behold. Thanks.
