Well I guess this one is done, at least as far as I can tell, thanks for all the compliments and advice on my figure and the M3A3/pak 40, enough talk here is the figure,

I chose to give him a Mosin-Nagant for something different, same rifle Vassily's (sp?) grandfather shot the wolf with in Enemy at the Gates.
Regards,
Robert

I may only be a novice at this hobby, but it looks sweet as a nut to me

Well Robert ...Not much to say except that this whole build is excellent ...love the idea of the older gun and newer tank...Your figure painting is way past anything I can do... I was worried if I only gave you praise I'd be deleted... Oh I got it !!! hmmm add a black wash to your back lights ..there may be a bit of red overlapping... Now is that reaching or what!!! Good job all around sir..congrats.

I can only speak to the art side of the figure and think it looks excellent!

I had a very close look and saw a good figure - some suggestions- His boots seem one colour and seem matt but no scuffing. Boots tend to become as individual as the owner and some scuff marks and dicolourisation may ground him more also that is what he walks through dust with an boot pick up the colour of the earth, just look at a soldier after he/she returns from manovers, his colouris great and well shaded and lined -possibly the same sugestions go why not a few scuff and dirt marks on knees elbows, bottom, and also grease marks where he puts his hands in his pockets. Please read this with an attitude of advice as I know I am looking at him twice size and I have seen some of my 25mm figures after I scanned them and yuck, all the best and you are truley brave
Ian
