Hi Warthog
That Zimmerit looks very realistic. Is that just plain old woodfiller you used?
What did you use to make the relief in the zim?

Arvin, your Elefant looks very nice indeed. I can't wait to see it finished.
I would however like to warn you about the tracks (If you are using the kit tacks), as you put the links together you will find that they will start to form a curve and will need some care to keep them straight. I found this when I built mine and I've since seen it mentioned it kit reviews both in magazines and online.
HTH
Pete

Warvos: How did you guess that its just woodfiller..hmmm... you were spying on me :-) . Yup, its just Elmer's wood filler (interior). Actually I was afraid that some may find it not appropriate and I have to redo them. I used two tools for making the pattern, the first one is the tip of a Tamiya paint stirrer and a scratchbuilt one, both can be seen in the 3rd pic side by side...
Pete: Thanks for the warning, I also read it in some articles. That is probably the reason why my intention is to build an Elefant with damaged tracks...that is in addition to the fact that the track cherons are wrong...they are inverted.
Thanks
