Nice touch that you added the antenna wire. I know it is not in the kit. My only niggle there is the connection: it is a sort of double pyramid shape. It is hard to locate it on the pictures, but it can be found.

Nice one Viking. Both the build and painting are excellent. Great to see all those scratchbuilt items. That is real modelling!! That home-made machine gun is excellent. Good enough to sell if you wanted, Im sure there would be takers!

Sorry for the long period, I didn´t answer your questions to my model.
Jeepney
I cut all axle mounts and sanded the edges angled.

The two devices are fuel containers. I willingly didn´t apply dark washes to get the dusty and sandy appearence of a recce vehicle that ran a long way before "being photographed".

I thought the shape is something like that:
Sorry for my bad drawing! #:-) This is, how I built it.

Thanks for your recommends concerning the machine gun. As I am starting to make master models for sale, I seriously consider to obey your advice.

I intend to set the SdKfz into an Africa Diorama (sometime). So this is only a quick and ugly substitute.
To all: Thanks for your positive replies!

How did you make the wheels steer?

What are those 2 devices strapped to the front fenders? I think a darker wash in their creases would make them stand out,and have a bit more detail revealed.
