Moezilla, the Hasegawa Tiger I looks great. I like the weathering and the Hobby Lobby base complements it nicely. Glad to hear you enjoyed your “Second campaign and first braille scale” build, excellent work for a first ‘Braille’ kit!

Thanks for the kind words guys, I appreciate it. Yea, the campaigns are a great motivator for beginning modelers to just get in and have a goal to reach. I was originally going to do a dio but decided just to go with the single tank build, there's still plenty of time remaining so I may still do a dio with another kit I have if I get some progress done on my Tank Destroyers campaign.
I just have to complete a small dio I'm working on right now for one kit (trying to find out how to preserve real vegetation first to use in it) and then it's back to the Marder III and maybe experimenting with the AB for the first time. That should be an adventure in and of itself for me. lol

Here is the WIP shot of the old Italeri reboxed Esci's Panther A. I intend to prime it black and try out pre-shading technique.
The darned tracks are a pain in the *** !!! Totally no details on the inside and it is extremely difficult to line them up properly to glue and near impossible to create a straight link.
The details on the upper hull is quite good though except that the turret is a bit too big but a pity those tracks are crap.

Looking good Danny! I had some problems with my tracks too but I think it was more due to fumble fingers on my part and a couple of roadwheels being a bit loose. Keep us posted with some new pics as you go along...

Base almost finished except rocks. Decals, drybrushing and weathering left to do on base and vehicles.
My first 1/72 scale dio. and my first dio. w/ elevation change.

Neo, that's becomming a great liitle dio!
There are so many beautifull entries allready. It's very inspiring to see them and it motivates to struggle along with my PST 1:72 KV-85.
I builded a little base yesterday and I'm working on the landscape at the moment. Tank is decaled for the 30th guard heavy breakthrough tanks regiment, November 1943.
It also got a dark washing and waits for some drybrush and last details.
During the washing, the front MG, a handgrip and a trackpart fell off (indytracks!). Due to the use of terpintine the glue lost its power, I guess.
I have to make a new MG, couse the other is eaten by the floormonster...

Great looking base Paul, I love the way it looks and presents the vehicle. The 85 looks great!

My Narcissus is coming along nicely.
The quite spartan cockpit is clearly visible here. The model is supposed to be 1:144 scale but the seats look more like 1:72 in size. Doesn't matter, it still fits in the campaign. I'm going to leave the cockpit as it is, as the canopy is tinted and the interior is to be painted dark grey anyway.
Here's an underside shot. The engines and "sleeves" on the front have been fitted. The fit wasn't flawless, so I'm facing some puttying and sanding.
The thrusters have nice rib detail inside and out, but the nozzles are just raised rings. The chromed part is a left-over headlight from Tamiya's Mini Cooper. I think those would look great as thruster nozzles. All I have to do is to remove the chrome plating, drill holes and fit the headlights in.

Aaaahhh! My KV-85 is heavy damaged by an attack of an 20 months year old monster called 'my youngest son..." Have to glue the barrel and some front parts in place again and work away the damage...
Hmmm. my own fault, should not left it un attended on the kitchen table...
