that must mean it's time to Burn, Baby, Burn!
Reminder for anyone who wants to participate in the group build devoted to using fire as a weapon. It can be as simple as a Molotov cocktail or as complicated as a jet fighter loaded with napalm bombs.
The primary intent was to model a tank that performed flame thrower duties such as a flammpanzer, M3 Satin, etc. but any model that used fire offensively is allowed.
Have fun and don't get burned!

Looking forward. I am still trying to figure out how to make a Sherman Flamethrower look different than a regular Sherman. If not then I always have the infantry flamethrower backpack as a back-up!

I'm all set! My Panzer II Flamingo is on the sidelines with my Russian TOS. The building will begin as soon as I clear my Jagdpanzer IV A-O off the desk. Should be later this week!
I can't wait to start.

I'll be in this campaign but am having alittle trouble thinking of what I want to get. Right now I fighting with either the Mirage or Zvezda OT-26, the New Dragon 3 in 1 Sdkfz 251 that has the flammthrower troop, the Dragon Sdkfz 251 flammwerfer, the ICM Panzer II flammpanzer, or the Dragon Panzer III flammpanzer. Anyone have any idea of how good the kits for the OT-26 or the Panzer II Flamingo are?

My Flammpanzer looks hot! I can't wait to build it.
I've also bought a PE set for it, so wish me luck because it is my first experience with PE.
Watch out for fire guys!

Too bad dragons aren't allowed.
M113 with Flamethower turret here too. Probably do a small vignette of a German flamethrower crew from DML's strumpioneers. it's been in the shelf for a couple of years.

Now that is cool! It was a bit too expensive for my taste but I'm glad you're gonna do this kit!

I'll get started in a couple of weeks, after I finish with my DML Tiger I Initial. I'm planning on doing DML's 251/16 Flammpanzerwagen. I hope I learned enough from the problems I had with my last DML 251 3-in-1 so that I can avoid them with this kit. It a really sweet looking kit and I'd like to do a bang up job on it.

Read the second paragraph in the campaign guidelines:
Operational Overview
The rules are simple. Any type of flame throwing device in any scale. It can be a traditional figure with a flame thrower, a flame tank, halftrack, or wheeled vehicle.
Non-traditional flame throwing subjects such as a medieval archer or Native American with a flaming arrow, a soldier with a Molotov cocktail, catapult with a flaming (simulated) projectile are allowed. Even a fire-breathing dragon complete with wings or an ancient warship with Greek Fire is allowed. Although this is in the Armor/AFV section, all methods of using fire to fight the enemy is allowed.
The dates are set to coincide with the tradtional US summer (Memorial Day-Labor Day). I anticipate participants asking for additional time to complete the build so I pre-extended it by one month (it is summertime after all).
The Rules and Regs
No rules besides those stated. Any scale, any material, no actual fire is required.
Contest Element
A campaign ribbon will be awarded upon successful completion.

Sorry, didn't read it thoroughly.
I got this at last year. It's not actually a kit. I've been trying to get around repainting it. It stands 30cm tall.

About the only thing I don't want to see in this group build is someone making a 1:1 scale Molotov cocktail by sticking a rag in a bottle with some liquid inside and calling it their "model". Scratch building a scale Molotov cocktail with a figure preparing to hurl it would be all right though.
Dragons are fine.
