Sorry to say Alex, but that padlock just ruins what is otherwise a great looking model for me...

Looking good - padlock aside. Where did you get the vision block covers.

"sigh" I know, I know. :-) That is1of many mistakes made along this journey - some corrected and some...left as is out of concern for just making things worse!

The Royal Models aftermarket set I used called for sheet styrene to be used to mount the lights, horn & marker poles on. I didn't really give that much thought until I superglued the right headlight in place copmplete with wiring (which can't even be seen ). There is a significant overhang concerning the mounting brackets for each light. So much for test fitting 1st. :-)

Alex,
If that padlock is the worst you got then your in good form my friend. I had to really look at it to figure out what the problem was. I know you'll do a bang up job. Keep up the great work.
Cheers,
Bryan

Alex, nice build so far .
If your really worried about the padlock, take a chisel head x-acto blade and pry and push to remove the p.e. part .Then flatten er out and glue er back on. Or hang a uniform or a tarp over it.
I know how you feel tho, all that work ya step back and look ---- then you see the booger. Doah!

Cheyenne,

I feel that if one posts their work then they must have a modicum of self-appreciation or satisfaction about it. I pointed out the messed up lock because it IS messed up. I also did it as a means to show modesty and to relay a sense of humility about posting this, I hope. I will not be fixing as it falls under the "concern for just making things worse" clause. :-)
