here is some work i've done on the M10's fighting compartment. I'm trying for a muddy used look as this M10 will be a Battle of the Bulge timeframe.... might be whitewashed.. not sure yet...
Interier is done in flat white.. drybrushed with some steel then black wash followed by an application of brown pastel mud i mixed up.
let me know what yall think..

I would not want to be the troopie cleaning that baby out . Some might say too much muck but for the time frame I think you are good. Post more pics as you progress.

Looks good Delbert, nice and dirty..
I think you might add some graphite (pencil) along the edges to give that worn metal look, and another wash in the front, around the transmission, to give it a bit more definition. But as youwon't see these parts in great detail once the top is on, you would be fine as it is.
BTW tell us how you painted the seats, that camouflage is perfect.. :-) :-) (sorry, couldn't resist that one..)
Cheers
Henk

I agree with Henk, another (heavy) wash would do good. Also, isn't that radio supposed to be OD or black? I'd have it painted in one of those colours because now 99% is white.
Other than that, great work. I like it!

thanks for the replies fellows..
The seats arn't in yet nor are various peices of equipment such as the radio and bits of troopie gear..
I may hit that tranie again with some more wash..
and try the grafite pencil on some edges. :>
and of course after the seats and gun and equiment is in and the top on it the stuff won't be quite as visiable but I still wanted it to look consistant.
