Awesome! Another Shermie. You got this one all tracked up. Will it be a Canadian 105?

Good job sofar. Are those periscope guards and lift eyes plastic or are the scratched from wire? I kinda like the tracks along the side, nice variation of the theme.
Keep us posted.

Hi. Looking good so far:)
like Henk I'm curious about the periscope guards came from... and on a much lamer note, did you use Tamiya red brown on those spare tracks? I've used it on my models to rust things up, but find that it tends to look purple in photos, at least until the rest of the muck gets slapped on!
Is this a specific vehicle you have in mind?

Thanks for the kind comments guys. Alan, it will be a Canadian IB, don't now which unit yet. I will have to check my spare decals. Henk & MC, the gaurds/ lifting hooks are kit parts (Academy). I used Model Master rust for the tracks and have noted that they always appear "purplish" in the photos. I am going to try a wash to tone them down. I am basing the model on a picture of a IB in Holland at the end of the war. The extra track armour was authorized by the Canadian commander, gives the tanks a spaced armour effect.
