Here are some update pics on my Hog Chopper for the campaign

Rear fender in putty

Scratchbuilt the primary and wheel drives, tranny, coil and starter.

Same as above only with scratchbuilt oil tank

Starting to put on Bare-Metal foil on engine and forks

Still have to scratch the pipes, add carb and stack, wire it and a few more things here and there.

Looks good so far Joe....
How about doing a complete write up when you are finished, and submitting it for a feature article.

Thanks Dave I'm having fun with this build. Brings back memories. Sure I'd submit one, but do you think there would be enough interest in a feature article.

Well... that's the editors decision, but you got to be in it to win it...... as they say.

Why not? IMHO it's much about scratchbuilding that comes in handy in all branches of modelling.
And we have civilian model discussiongroups and forums, so why not any articles?

I'm very interested in how you apply the BareMetalFoil.
What's the method you followed and what tools did you use. I saw it once in my LHS, but I hesitate to buy and use... cold water fear I guess...

Like Paul also I want to learn how baremetal aplied.I bare to buy it, and try to use it.My first and second attempts of using it ended with disappointment then ı give up to tryMaybe the reason is trying it in the 1/43 scale mini cooper bumpers. Its too small. Then I started to inspire my self the reason is its too small and try to confort my self :-) I will be happy if you share the technic of using baremetal foil.
