I think this may be the build that sees if Murph can do an actual replica and not something from his own twisted melon!
Count me in! I have a 26 book set of WWII Encyclopedias from Encyclopaedia Britannica and it has about 5000 pictures from the war. Beginning to end. I think there may be an item in there not too normal to attempt.
I'll start my research tomorrow. (ooo, I'm giddy )

both are OK as both are cargo carriers. The fact that their load is a missle is incidental.

yep they sure will fit Dave. Fire engines carry a load as well as personel so qualify on both counts.

Jippie! Count me in as well!
Thinking of some nice trucks, like a T-Ford towingtruck, partly based on a MPR model and partly scratchbuild. Have to look if that's do-able...
Is it gonna be an official campaign (as I thought they where all prosponed untill 2006) or a group build??

Neo.
I wish you very much succes with that kit!
Remembering your Russian rocketlauncher (Frog?) I'm convinced you can build it, but you'll notice it will be great challenge, specially the cabine. :-)
Looking forward to the final result!

Alright! I did a little research into the encyclopedias and came up with two wheeled vehicles that definitely can go into the running.
First, coming to you from the Chinese/Japanese front area of Rangoon (Thai??) comes this nifty transport that took a jeep and made it a sort of railbus.
And then the one I am leaning towards is a WC 54 ? with a rocket launcher in the bed.
I'm still looking so I won't verify that I'll do these yet, but those are the best prospects...so far.
Back to the bookshelf,

Tankers, whether water or fuel are cargo carrying so acceptable under the rules. As for AM parts it does not matter if the kit is built OOB, with all the AM availiable or totaly scratchbuilt all are acceptable.

Cuhail just for your information the ref pic you posted of the rocket launcher trucks in the pacific are not WC series Dodges but rather Marine Corp Internationals. Having said that I am pretty sure that some Dodge weapons carriers were used as well as a Dodge 6X6 WC62
Also I have a lot of reference Photos of the Aussies using 'Rail' jeeps in Borneo in 1945 if anyone would like to do a jeep in this configuration.
Cheers

Thanks Roo!
Now, if I can't find a model of a Marine International, can I build it as a WC and use that pic?
