"Angel" is pretty sweet Dave - mind if I use the Fighting Compartment details for my references...

I got my Sheridan entry painted and am working on the markings this afternoon...

Yes you can. If you need some photos of the actual truck I can get them for you.

Thanks Dave. I will keep building them for as long as I can find them.

Here is the photos that I have that I think will help you. http://photos.kitmaker.net/showgallery.php/cat/13151 Let me know I think I might have some more of the replica from the Gathering. You can check my gallery under the Gathering album. There are some photos that I took of the truck

She is an angel indeed! It came out great!
The ammoboxes in the back, is that a home-casting too or individual boxes?
Looking out for nr. 64!!!

Great job

Mark, the floor is covered with home cast sections of the ammo cans. I have both the 50 cal and the 7.62mm, 223 Cal sections to choose from. The majority of the trucks in Nam used the ammo cans. Some were filled with sand and the more heavily armed trucks the cans were full of ammo.

Thanks for the kind words of encouragement, Paul.

63 trucks is quite an impressive number!
It's great to see such scratchbuilded models. I mean this hobby can't get much better than this. Your trucks are great example of creation by the builders will, not relying on what is on the market. I like it very much!

Cheers,
Pedro

Nice build Dave.
Interesting site also, considering it was all done around where I live, and I havd no knowledge of it. (How dare they do this without letting me know)...... :-) :-) :-)
Is it still in Jersey?, I see the shows were in March of 03, and 04, I guess I missed 05. I checked out the main page, found out their mailing address is Budd Lake, that's about 12 miles west of me. May have to investigate this outfit a little more.

Check them out when you get a chance. They are a bunch of great guys and gals. Tell them animal says Hi and will see them in June of 06 for the Gathering at Ft. Eustis.
