Good looking Tiger Rob, if you hadn't told us I'd have had a hard time guessing it was 1/72.
Which kit did you use?

Good looking model indeed!
I like the number on the turret :-)
It's the Tiger Peiper died in, isn't it?

Ola Rob
That looks like an Incredibly good painted tiger. I haven`t done 1:72 for years too. I love the Zimmerit. did that come with the kit or did you make that yourself?
Looks very good
Ola Paul the 007 is the tank in which Wittmann was commander during the battles of the hedgerows. It was in this tank he did the Villers Bocage action and shortly after that it was hit by a P47 bomb which went through the backdeck causing an explosion in the engine room which in turn caused an explosion in the munition storage. The second explosion killed the crew and teared away the turret
Here are some pics of the remains of the 007
Very nice representation of this vehicle

Hey Robert!
Man, you are right! What a *** I am!!!
I knew that but I always seem to mess those two guys up!!! Offcourse it was Wittmann I meant. Peiper was alive and kicking until the sixties...
Forgive me, I'm blond by nature :-)

This is the Dragon Late Tiger which comes with the zimmerit. I liked building it so much I started two more of the Dragon small scale kits last night. They build quick and you get things like etch, wire cables right in the box. Plus the zimmerit is well done. For 10 bucks they are a great value I think.
The Tiger comes with etch guards for the exhaust and wire for the cables. My only complaint about the build was the idler wheel and last road wheel spacing seems off.
Thanks for the compliments guys I built this to get out of a run of bad luck I was having in 35th scale. It was fun.
