My next projekt for the Miniature Magik campaign..
I need a break from German subjekts, and I want to build something that's only one color for a change..
I was quite impressed when I bought this kit, it includes a PE fret with the drive sprockets and various tow eyes and fender struts.!! Madness..
Also note the one piece continuoes tracks, which I will probably cover in mud..
Cheers
Henk

Interesting tank... I bet it's a Russian tank? Never seen this one.

Henk Don't go blind with those road wheels! Man that thing is tiny. Can you put an object in the picture when you post progress shots for us please?

Looks nice. Maybe a review of the kit once you've builded it?

That suspension was bad enough in 1/35, good luck with this one mate!

Hello, thanks for your encouragement.
The kit falls together surprisingly well, I hope to finish it tonight, if I don't have to go out and work.. :-) .
This is to show the size of this 'monster', I thought about using a pound, but then not everybody is familiar with the size of the coin of the Realm.. So I decided on the most universal item we all use, the no. 11 blade for your exacto or equivalent..
Yes, the wheels come in two halves, they are then sandwiched between the brackets, which are then mounted between the two parts of the suspension arm. If your are mad enough, you can actualy make the wheels and suspension movable.. .
The detail and fit are very good, there are just a few spots were small gaps need to be filled, but all those can be filled with some liquid glue, no need for filler yet. Nice rivet detail all over, apart from the superstructure side, which almost seems overlooked. For those so inclined, it should not be a problem to add the missing rivets yourself, but I won't. I have just a hint of sanity left.. :-) :-) .
Ralph, It's a Russian 'tank', but as it mounts a short 76 MM cannon, I suppose it should really be clssed as an assault gun. The info with the kit calls it the " T-26-4 Artillery Tank".
Scott, It is tiny, see above for a comparison.
Dave , Ike , Jeroen, cheers and stay tuned
Paul, I'll see if I can cobble together a small review, It's getting to pic's to go with it that seems to be my problem.
Cheers
Henk

All of the best with this build mate! As Dave said, the T-26’s suspension is tough in 1/35 scale, in 1/72 it must be a nightmare.
Well it looks as if you are doing very well on the construction!

You're not wrong there Eric.. I managed though, and this is the idler wheel adjustment..
I got it all together, painted it with XF-61 Dark Green, oversprayed it with XF-61 lightened with some Buff, and drybrushed it with Lifecolor Tan (UA 039).
Posing next to the 1:35 Jagdpanther..
After this pic my camera died, but I'll put some photo's of the finished model, on a small vignette, in the Campaign Gallery tommorow.
Thanks for looking and all your comments.
Cheers

Neat little kit Henk. Amazing amount of details for such a small scale.
Will be looking forward to the vignette.

Thanks Pedro and Jesper,
The putty is taking a long time to dry, so my vignette will take a bit longer. I did charge the batteries of the camera and took some better pic's of the model.
Thanks for looking and all your comments.

Don't you hate it when you blow up your model by about 4 times, and all you see are those little things you missed whilst squinting at your bench? :-)
