Hey guys,
This is the Tammiya kit, the "Ardennes Front" edition. I'm working on the loader figure, who will be sitting somewhere on the finished model. It Has tamiya individual link tracks and a metal barrel from ***** (I dont have the package near me, and I don't feel like getting it :-) ) other than that, it's pretty much OOB. It's painted in tamiya acrylics, those arts and craft store acrylics, and Games Workshop acrylics. Its weathered with babypowder and paint mud, and ground pastels. It has one large gap between the mantlet and turret where I attached the mantlet wrong, but that I think s the only major unfixable flaw.I know the paint scheme is not correct for the actual, tank I just followed the tamiya painting diagram/. I should have done more research.

hey there david well it loks like a good model. um lets see a couple of little things jumped out at me. the tank is in good paint scheme but i dont believe it is right for that campaigne.it look like you went a wee tad over board with the rust, like tall the tools are rusted and so are the spare track links in not quite sure just how rusted they would be. but nonethe less it looks very good to me other than those things. how do you liek those games workshop paints? what colours did you use form that line?

The paint scheme is a correct soft edged ambush scheme, but the tank I portrayed did not wear this paint, tank 332 did not use the dots on their three color scheme. As for the rust, it was really just an experiment with pastel powder applied wet. The games-workshop paints are excellent for hand-brushing and good for airbrushing, though they are expensive and require a little thinning.hey there david well it loks like a good model. um lets see a couple of little things jumped out at me. the tank is in good paint scheme but i dont believe it is right for that campaigne.it look like you went a wee tad over board with the rust, like tall the tools are rusted and so are the spare track links in not quite sure just how rusted they would be. but nonethe less it looks very good to me other than those things. how do you liek those games workshop paints? what colours did you use form that line?

Very nice looking tiger you have there David. I particularly like some of the weathering effects on the turret, although they may be a bit over board, they look cool. Your shackles could use some "wear". I would say the weakest part of you KT is the pictures :-),no offense but if you take some pics outside in the shade, we could really get a look at it.

No offense taken, I had taken these pics in my room at about 12:00 :-) I was also experimenting with different lighting, and it looked pretty good on the little screen. :-) it wasn't until I had looked at them on my computer did I realise how really crappy they were :-)
