I made a nice wet muddy mix using mig powders and migs acrylic resin.
should look ok once i have made a dio for it

nice wet mud effect you have there. One little nitpick, It would look (in my opinion ) better if you added some "splaches" (english?) to the upper hull.

It does look good, but I have to agree, a few splashes would add even more Karl. Try putting it an upended box, mix up a batch of quite light coloured pigment and flick this, with the aid of a long bristled brush around the rear of the hull. When it's dry, go over it with some darker coloured pigment, but leave areas of the lighter colour showing through at the top. It should as if some of the 'highest' mud is beginning to dry.

Your Wespe is looking better and better, it's fun to watch the progress you're making.
If I may do a suggestion, I'd add a bit more texture to the mud. Shouldn't be too hard to do with pastels or sand or whatever.
