Well I don't have any images right now but I started my
work on three diffrent subjects for the campaign:

#1 - DMLs navy sealsthat are at the begining stage of painting and they are meant to go on a simple vignette.

#2 - Academys M151A1C which I'm building up, now waiting for the mood to scratch front suspension upper arms and to correct the steering wheel to A1 standard and not A2 as depicted by academy.

#3 - would be old academy sheridan which has its hull and turret put together but work on this one came to a halt as I dont see any reasonable possibilyty of scratching that amount of rivets on the hull sides that are necessary.

Now #4 could be an entry if cosidered eligible for the campaign. Its an old tamiya walker bulldog build up some 9 years ago which I am now redoing ( turret is already stripped of paint) with afv club's vinyl tracks and gun mantlet cover and Part's photoetch. oh and its also being updated to the A3 standard.

So if I only found time...

Feeling groovy about the projects

Wish me luck!

Happy Modeling!
Pedro :-)

Sure, there is the ancient Tamiya Armored Troops that came with the original M113A1 kit and as a separate kit. You could also use just about any of the DML/Dragon Vietnam era figures to go with it. There are lots of resin Vietnam figures as well. Academy's M113A1 Vietnam kit comes with a full crew, some grunts, and a civilain Vietnamese girl too, and has all the parts for ACAV and ARVN versions as well. Academy's is a much better kit all the way around too.

Well Im going back and fourth on three projects. I have most of the ground work done and figures half painted on my stream crossing dio. I have my NVA Zil-157 6x6 cargo truck about 90% done for my MACV/SOG ambush dio. And I have my M35A1 towing a 105mm Howitzer the 6x6 is about 70% done and the 105 about 50% these will be used in a dio were the crew have encountered mines and have called some engineers to clear them. Being this is now the official thread Ill try to get some pics up soon.

I have finished the A-1 Skyraider, but in my haste to get ready for deployment I didn't take a picture of it with the bombs, and rockets under the wings.

My three "pre-ordnance" photos are in my MSN gallery.

Hmmm, lets see, maybe dirty up that wall a bit, some dust and such might add some contast to the scene, also on that strewm rubble.
As for something you could actually put in there to fill space, lets see, maybe a Mechanical Mule? MUTT Jeep? Maybe either of these with a mounted Recoiless rifle?
Even if you leave it it looks very good as it is, well done mate.
Cheers

Though I have no progress pics... still need to get a digital camera-but x-mass is comming!!! ... I have started working on a simple vignette using the DML Tet Marines-as per one of the previous posts-one Marine carrying a wounded comrade. I will modify it a bit to make it seem like he is fighting through... small base "Leave No Man Behind."

I am also hoping I will be able to work on the Academy 1/72 Dragonfly and the OV-10 A Bronco. And last but not least... if all else permits to get an "Ambushed" or "So close to home... " dio. Involving a damaged MUTT, a goup of Marines cought in a rice field or in the middle of a road, with one wounded marine sitting behind the jeep with a ticket home in his hand.
