This is my entry for the Burn baby burn campaign.
This is Dragons Sd. KFz 251/16 flammpanzerwagon, Tamiya figures and Verlinden diorama accessories.
I was absolutely stunned when i opened the kit to see how many parts there was, luckily i gave myself a couple of months to build it :-) . Apart from a couple of minor fit issues it went together well. It was sprayed with Tamiya acrylics and weathered with Mig pigments.
Any comments are welcome (and properly needed :-) ).
Thanks for looking Andy

I think you have to make the barrels black.
That would be a lot nicer.
Also try to seal the marks (dragon etc) on the dio. That would give a lot orderly look.
Further I think you have done a great job!!

I like the overall story of German troops searching for enemy troops with the flamethrower

a great looking dio andy... you captured the scene quite well. are the germans going to steal some flamethrower fuel from the garage?
i agree on the others' comments on the flamethrower barrel and the text on the dio. also, the width indicator bar(?) above the drive sprocket should be vertical, and the front MG seems to be set too far backwards from the shield.
...quite a good effort andy. well done!

Thanks for the replies, i have corrected the barrels by putting some Mig black smoke on the end of the barrels (i was supposed to do that when i was weathering, then i obviously forgot, stupid me :-) ).
The writing on the base isn't permanent and not glued down, as i haven't quite figured out how to make it look good yet (suggestions would be most welcome).
As for the M.G it seems to be the only way it fits, i myself thought it was too far back, but the trigger and magazine get in the way of the stand if you put it forward more.
The width indicators kept falling off so well just pretend he hit something .
Thanks Andy
