Here's a pic of the Tamiya Schwimmwagen It's an OOB build Any color suggestions for the seats? I am thinking redbrown or semi-gloss black I will use Tamiya khaki for the rolled up canvas roof

I would go for the semi-gloss black seats. I have never seen a SW with seats, in any other color than black.

I'm building this model myself. Excellent kit. Perfect fit and very little clean up.
