It brings me back !! Now the fun starts...how are you planning to weather your kit?Are you going to paint on the olive drab strip for the serial number or use the kit decal?I found it too green for my taste,but that is up to you ....Looking good keep it up..

Chuck--what color did you use to replicate the blue? How did you mask to present the sharp lines ---tape?

I'm not sure how I'll approach the weathering. I'm leaning toward only pastels.
The blue/gray color is neutral gray and intermediate blue from model master in a 50/50 mix. Actually, it looks lighter in the pics that it really is. Probably a lighting problem. The masking took a lot of time and test fitting with masking tape.
I'm not sure about the side numbers. I also think the decal is too green. But, I don't have any individule numbers, so I may depend on dull coat to fix it.

very nice!...but only one thing needs to be done now...throw a truck load of mud on it!...no Hummmer is a Hummer without some kind of drit or mud on it!...
