One of my many projects. This is the Italeri Opel Blitz....Im going to put it in a winter dio...yet to be determined...What I have tried to do here is give the look of the interior windows and windshield frosted up..Those from the north will know this all to well. Did I manage?

That looks pretty realistic, John. Just like the stuff I scraped this morning. Frost forms on the outside and on the whole vehicle . If you can get this look for the entire truck that would look fantastic, really portray the winter chills.

It was actually very easy. First brushed on a layer of liqued cement. Then lightly sprinkled on Woodland Scenics snow. Right away blew off the excess..I didnt want it too thick. I waited a couple minutes and brushed on a layer of future. Thats it...very easy and a realistic look.

Future..here in the states as its called..is a clear acrylic floor finish made by Johnson. Beauty of it is..no need to thin it for airbrush and also brushes on nicely. It has a very glossy finish to it.

Hi there John.
The frost looks really nice!
I will agree with the others also!
You should try and create the frost to the whole truck cause the wet-frosty look in the morning is taking place to the whole car!
Also the yellow colour of the Opel looks very clean and very fake!!
I suppose there's more work to be done on it right?
Anyway it's really great trick and i thank you for sharing your skills!!
Cheers and good luck for the rest!

Looks like what the wind shield of my car looks like every damned morning! In other words - very realistic.

i agree... put little frosty sparkles on the entire vehicle - a clear, transluscent fine grain glitter (found in greeting card making section of craft store- or look for Stampin' Up brand on ebay) would be great here, because you still need the color of the vehicle to show through.

John, sorry about getting into this one a little late, but to answer your question, Yes you managed
Very very realistic, -- I almost reached for the scraper which we all carry in our cars up here
This is nice work.
