I think I have come up with a way to depict what would be...after a light snow fall ,the temp starts to rise and would slowly start melting the snow off the vehicle. This is an old model used for experimenting only. Feedback or thoughts please.
Thanks Joe..Mother..for the tip on icecicles..[sp?]

Hey Mr Parts ,
Looks good but a little too localised . I have used baking soda sprayed with hair spray for light sprinkles of snow but this looks good for the sludgy melty stuff (scientific terminology) .
Believe it or not we get a lot of snow hear in Orange !
We have a very high altitude .
An interesting effect , how do you do it ?
Love Jenny

Looking good, John.
Do you have the possibility to post a really close up pic?
Spending 10 years north of the artic circle has brought me some experience of what snow looks like:-) .
Cheers
Erik

Very promising PvtParts. It definitely has a mushy feel to it. I can't quite make it out from the pics but would it by any chance have a gloss coat on the edges of the snow?

It looks great. One thing only: melting snow has lots of water around it - the kit looks too dry. Maybe if you use a darker shade of the color around the snowpatches as it was wet...

Yep John I'm sold on it. The clumping and the 'icicles' ( ) are quite convincing. I'm sure that with what the others have mentioned you could add to the effect on a larger scale, with it coming out spiffing

Have to agree whith everything already said, looks very good! Just try to make the melting snow on the finished vehicle to flow straight down, and not a bit to the side as some of it now.
