I think I'm finaly done with the interior
Scratchbuilt the blankets and the straps for all the hanging boxes and stuff.
Let me know what you think, I'll glue the cover tomorrow!!!
I may add a gun betwwen the 2 guys at the back, there is some room left.
Anything I forgot, or that I should improve?

Ropi, looks good in there. Nice job on the blankets.
Before you close her up, you may want to weather it up a bit in there. Being that there were at least 4 men using it, going in and out would produce some wear. The floors could use some dirtying.
A once over wash would also help to bring out all those fine details that otherwise get lost in the olive drab's mono color.

That's a great way to keep those blankets warm! Only thing I would question are the helmets. Since they are all relaxed and even reading, wouldn't they take off their pots? Other than that, excellent work!

As the others said, some weathering would add to a good looking interior. And the figures could use a pair of eyes
the rest looks fine

Thanks for the tips...
I did not bother with the dirtying of the floors at all since those will not show once she is closed up. But I may as well...
Which color do you recommend for the wash / drybrushing?
This is my first Allied / OD, I guess I should just go with a light green for the Dry Brushing, and brown for the wash?
Correct?

Hi
the vehicle commander is not allowed to sleep under operations, it's stricly forbidden by the rules :-)
Job well done. I second what other posters said, a little weathering would be great even if all won't be visible when closed.

not sure which color for drybrushing, but for the wash depending on weres you want your dragon wagon to be from, a light brown and some sandy yellow collors could work.

Ok since you guys insisted so heavily on the wash...
Did you see that the vehicle commander, since he got busted by Olivier, is now hiding his nap with a map?

Ropi, now isn't that much better? From this viewing angle it sure brought the inside to life. A great improvment. The placing of the map in front of the napper is a nice touch.
Carry on.

That better be approved reading material.. no enenmy propaganda posters in the vehicle! Just Kidding.
Excellent job, I especially like the sleeping commander-that is a spectacular touch... we all deserve a nap every once in a while.
Keep up the great work-can't wait to see more.
PS. On the weathering-good choice but I feel it was not absolutely necessary-will be hard to see it with the lid on but in case someone gets super curious and sticks a dental mirror in there... they will know-you went the distance!! Once again-great job.

Yeah!
I also added some white drybrushing to have the details stand out more.
But now I have "closed her up" and I have worked on the shutters.
I've read something about building handles from scratch but I'll have to look at the references because it looks fine to me...
Do you realize how much slower my build is because of this site???
More pix tomorrow!

Lovin the reading material you supplied your figures.
did those tow cables come with the kit or you pulled them from somewhere else?

Hey Jazza,
It's a nice compliment you are giving me : the tow cable are strings supplied by Tamiya. All I did was to paint them in Gun Metal.
So it looks like they are convincing already!
I still plan to add on those cables a couple of black, rust, gray washes when the build is complete and I go into serious painting.

I would add at least a couple M1 Carbines. Given that they are armored, they would be expected (whether or not they did) to be near or on the front lines, thus armed. Other than that, I love the Dragon Wagon, so you can't go wrong.

Looking good Ropi, but I still think you should reprimand the vehicle commander for sleeping on duty. Camoflageing it with a map is one of the oldest tricks in the book. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
Looking forward to see it finished.
Cheers
Erik
