To prove I'm still active with modelling I made some photos from my KV1 Simplified Turret from Trumpeter. Let me know what you think!

Hi, Always a pleasure to see your work. Looks very nice. I noticed that you have added or enhanced the weld seams along the top of the chassis. What did you use for this? Love the base coat, what with the different shadings. Looks good!

Hi , slight problem , you have left the support bars on either side of the trunion domed sections , with the L11 gun you have fitted these were never fitted , also missing is the water drain hole in the armoured collar on front m/g mount. Otherwise a very good model . cheers ian

Hi I will get my model out of the workshop in the morning UK time Tuesday and find the kit number for you , It is the welded strip bars that are alongside the gun trunion bulges that need removing one per side . Cheers ian

Hi Jurgen , Parts P 9 and !0 when glued on they have a stip either side molded on the turret face this has to be removed to be correct . cheers ian

Hi Jurjen , No ! If you send an e mail to me at [email protected] and Title it KV L11 gun I will send you a scan of the front of the gun housing and you can see exactly which parts you should remove. cheers ian
