It's been a little while since I got to work on some stuff and post images here. I recenlty got a new love in my life and I have been spending a majority of my time with her.

I wanted to show you some pictures ofwhere I left off on some of my stuff.

Here is the Dragon M1 Panther II. All I have to do is paint the oil caps on the road wheels and then finish up with Mig Pwders for the weathering. The mine roller neds the whole weathering treatment. It is still in the first coat stage.

Looking good as allways, Pete.
What does the sign at the rear of the vehicle say?

Cheers

Thanks Erik!
It's the name of the driver and track commander.

Well Steve, to tell you the truth, it was of the easiest kits I've built. It went together prtty fast and easy.

Hold on, don't let me lie to you. The tracks is what took the logenst. Each track had enjector pin marks, so the had to be sanded off. The good news is that you don't have to do all of them, just the ones that you can see which are the bottom ones.

Instructions where straight forward.

I can't remember right now which volume it was, but I used one of Concords Assault Journals that featured the Panther in it for reference photo's.

Don't forget to slide the tow cables in thier mounts before you attach one end of the cable.

I used plastic confetti from Hobby Lobby for the periscopes. It took some time to cut and trim each individual periscope, but I like how it came out.

As far as color, I used straight Tamiya NATO Green as the base coat and then added a little Tamiya Buff to it a sprayed it on in a cloud pattern to get the faded look.

I like the paint job very much. Nice subtle shadowing and highlighting.
