Hey guys,

This is the DML kit, which is really wonderful (if you like teensy-weensy-little-twing-from-the-tweezer-micro-parts). It's built OOB and painted on MM acrylics. It is weathered with oil washes, filters (they don't really show in the pictures) and MIG pigments which are SO much better than pastels, I don't think I'll ever use pastels for major weathering again.

Hi David. Nice clean build. For so many weathering steps, they are pretty invisible in the images. Maybe a little too reserved??
Weathering is a personal preference, so if you´re happy with it ... great. IMO, it could do with a little more defination, to bring out the detail and take away the very monotone green of the entire tank. Decals would even help.
Also it appears that you dont use a tripod, or similar, as some images are a little blurry.
Hopefully I dont sound overly neagative ... and Im well aware weathering is a preference ..... just throwing my 2 cents in!

Not really, they are actualy pretty visible in real life. These pictures were taken indoors, because I have been sick I have not had the opportunity to take better pictures withn adequate lighting outside. I'll try again later.

I would have if I could have, truth is these tanks hardly ever carried any sort of markings. I would have loved to put a giant slogan on the side, or some sort of number, but I couldn't find any pictures to back this up.

I did use a tripod, however the lighting I was using left alot to be desired, and the camera could not focus as much as Iwould have liked it too.

Don't worry about sounding too negative, I wasn't happy with the pictures either, I'll show some better pictures soon.

Lord Stomp

Good to see you posting again. The 34 looks good. The first pic gives a sense of real weight to the model while presenting the angular shapes that made this vehicle such a great weapon. Good stuff here.

Great work on your T-34/76 M1940, David. I think your overall finish (Russian green) is excellent, and the weathering is just fine the way it is. Remember; not quite enough weathering is ALWAYS better than having it appear overdone.

I will agree on the pics though. They seem out of focus. I really cannot comment on much more then that, because I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to digital cameras. Maybe Santa will surprize me with one Christmas morning ?

This is a great kit, and I have one myself. After seeing yours, I have a sudden urge to build it. Thanks for the motivation

Cheers !!
