Hi All,

A friend of mine is an engineer in the Canadian Army and is heading out to Afghanistan soon and we were talking about models and how he doesn't seem to have the patience or time especially now that his training schedule has been increased and so got to thinking I'd like ot build him a model of his vehicle.
This pic is the best one I have and was wondering if anyone here knows of a kit of it, doesn't matter scale but was hoping for something 1/72, be easier to ship to him after its done. This is of course my hoping there is a kit available )

There is no kit of the M113 MTVE Engineering vehicle.

You will need to do some kit bashing and scratch building if you want to come up with this new variant.

I hope your friend has a safe tour.

If anyone does it, it would be Roco in 1/87. Check them out at Walthers.

I really doubt you'll find this anywhere since it only recently came out. Where's my LAV III Mr. Tamiya!!?! But it should be fairly easy to scratch. Use the american tracks and not Diehl tracks. I'd hold off sending it to him overseas as we'll be pretty tight for space I think.
