Hi friends!
Applied some washes and a drybrush last weekend so now it's time to start the weathering To my opinion the most fun, hehehe. That way I can hide all those imperferfections during the build and painting progress, but don't tell
Here are some pics:
Thanks for viewing!
O, btw,...as you can see. Most of the details are still missing like machineguns etc. Those will ba added before the weathering offcourse.
Cheers!

Looking good!
I tested many of my wash techniques on a Tamiya Kv-1. Those broad flat fenders are great for collecting dust and rust and dirt. Check out how my washes look on them:

Hi Fred!
That's are real cool looking tank you have made there. what turret have you used? Because I have a Tamiya T34/85 turret sitting in the spare box. I suppose it is possible to use that turret for a KV-85?
Cheers!

Looking good so far, Jurjen. That faded-out Russian green finish you have is excellent. Basic weathering looks good too. I really like how you used the early mantle with the 76.2mm L-11 gun that comes with this kit.
What did you use for that Russian slogan on the turret sides ?
Are you going to use the kits vinyl tracks ? or the link and length ones ?
Keep us posted
Cheers !!

Hi Robert!
I thought I used stencilit sjablonen. But I'm not for sure. (not home at the moment, hehe)
I'm using the link and lenght ones, they just look so good On the moment they are still plain black but that will be changed very soon. lol
Thanks for your comment!
