Hello
Finished it on time :-) Last night I worked till 3 o'clock in the morning to get the job done. But here it is my entry for the S.I.K. FOR ya campaign a Tpz 1 Fuchs.
The fuchs saw action in 1997 in Bosnia during the German SFOR operations near Rajlovac. Vehicle is from the SFOR gepanzerter gefechtsverband.
Let me know what you think.
For everybody a happy new year
Cheers Roel

Nice one Roel.
I think you have captured the looks of this armoured "bus". I have ridden it several times in Afghanistan and it provide sufficiant protection on PSO missions.
Only one small thing: Try to crop the photos a bit. In that way it will be more Fuchs and less background.
Cheers
Erik

Hey Paul thanks.
I might take some new pics the sun really shines on the model. I used revell colours leather matt brown (revell nr 85) tarblack matt (revell nr 6) and bronze green matt (revell nr 65). For the dust underneath the vehicle I used light earth matt (humbrol 119).
I might remove the german cross and try to redo that again. I am very pleased with my work on this model.
Thanks for the comment paul and erik
Greetings Roel

There's a lot of modelers here who love Modern Armor! Just not as "vocal" a group I suppose... :-)
Nice work. I'm finishing up a M93 FOX conversion of this model kit. The only thing I thought a bit odd was the size of the wheels in the Revell kit. They appear a bit too large. Thoughts?

A very nice job, modern vehicles can be fun and you go to prove that diversity makes this an interesting hobby.
