Hi Guys & Gals,
Here are the pics of the M26 Pershing in progress stage II. I sprayed flat black as a pre-shaded coat, then I sprayed OD on it. Then I mixed the OD with flat flesh at 50:50 and airbrushed on the OD. The kit has yet to be washed and dry brushed. I will keep you post for the next stage of progress.
Comments are welcome.

Great use of the preshading method Steve. It can really make plain old Olive Drab look more interesting.

Nice work, Stephanus, Although it bears the white star thingy, but still look very good! Now you can bring it along next time, so we can play make-believe war with it and my Tiger....

Gotta love that pre-shading. Looks very nice Steve.
Are you going to do any drybrushing or dusting?

Great looking start. Some nice subtle variations on the scheme. A great use of pre- and post-shading. Looking forward to the finished project.

Very nicely done.
The Tamiya Persing is a Korean War version. Refer to Hunnicutt's book. There were no supports on the rear fender and the infantry phone was on the fender, not the rear hull.

Looks great Steve, I think you did a really good job on it, especially the decals, a very interesting job.

Rtwpsom2,
The kit is yet to finish. You can see the Tank is a bit shiny cause I have sprayed a clear coat on it before the decals set in. I will do a wash and dry brush afterward.

Nice job steve! Dont think the kit needs a wash after all the pre shading........... probably just some drybrushing and pastels will finish the job! :-)
