Hi all, hereīs my just finiished entry for the Patton campaign. I started this model on Jan 1st. I know that the tools and lotīs of details arenīt for the german version, but I didnīt have those to make it more accurately, cut me some slack, would you? :-) :-) :-)
The model is AFV Club 1/35, built OOB, painted with enamels with a single accion airbrush and weathered in the same way. Unfortunately, I didnīt have any PE to replace some very fragil pieces that I broke during construction , so there will be lot of things that look kinda odd for the experts. Better pictures soon, thanks for looking

One more thing, I know that the decals show some silvering, I will correct that before take new and better pics.

looks realy nice. And BTW, there's nothing wrong with SA airbrush got one myself and it does the job for me

I know that a SA airbrush does the job, but you havenīt seen mine though :-) :-)

Nice model Klaus. I too like the cammo that you applied on this one and blended it in nicely with what looks like a filter.

So my final count is that you completed 4 models in about a week?

Yes mate, 4 this week....maybe next Iīll finish 2 more, then Iīll run out of kits, until I get some from a friend in the US in 3 weeks or so.....no war yet, hopefully, but I donīt know what will happen in 6 more months with that guy running for president in Peru.......
Got to admit that my girlfriend has helped me with some of the painting, because Iīm still with the cast in my leg....I just love her :-) :-)

I have never seen this color scheme on a German vehicle though admittedly I am woefully unaware of much of German eqipment since leaving the Bundesrepublic in 1980. Any site have color schemes and markings for present day Modern armor? I may delve into this if I ever run out of Pattons and World War 2 stuff to keep my interest going

I guess your current injured leg has something to do with the speed you turn out your models? I hope you get well soon so you stop giving the rest of us bad conscience for being slow... :-)
However, I hate to tell you, but the tracks are to loose. Your ARV would probably throw the tracks at the first turn.

Here is a good picture from Prime Portal which shows how the tracs should be.
