ah nothing like starting from the beginning by fitting in fresh new wheel sprockets etc.
Nice start Peter. Im actually about to make the chally II as well but there is quite alot of people building it for this campaign so am wondering if i should find something else just to be different.
Let me know how you get along with this kit anyways. Of all the tanks, i think this one is the sexiest so its going to be hard to resist it.

This is my first Tamiya Chally II but no 5 in total. Plus I have another Trumpeter one here to do. It seems to be a better kit than the Trumpeter one and at almost 3x the cost it should be.

I hear ya on this one. I paid NZ$65.95 for it or rather SWMBO did as a Xmas present so im going to be building it with extreme care.

Maybe its the small workbench that you are working on thats enhancing the size of this kit but damn its big!
With this build so far, have you encountered any manufacturer's fault?

Jeremy
So far I've come across no real faults with the kit, it's actually quite a nice build but I really don't thinks it's worth £34.99.
