I was just reviewing the '06 Campaigns and wanted to see what people are planning for this one.
It sounds like it can really get a lot of varying dioramas.

That is one sweet locomotive.
I really like the idea - what about the front view? How are you going to handle the width issue - narrow locomotive vs. wide turret ring?

I just signed up. Not really sure what I will build but I have a few ideas circulating in my head. Right now, I may be doing an armed V-22, a Crusader SPH, or an AAAV.

I´m still planning, but my bet it´s for a modified Sgt York, and I had some extra armor remaining from a Zelda M113, so maybe a truck or some thing like that....obviously in a vignette

Klaus - I love the idea of 'bashing' a Sgt York. The ultimate in 1:1 system 'bashing' -Great idea.

Would a W.W.2 prototype be a good idea? Recently I had won on Ebay a Cromwell conversion for an ISU-152 based on the IS-3 tank Only a prototype was built It was then sent to the Kubinka armor museum
I was thinking some power mad General got it running and then made a bid for power

Alright, I have almost decided what I will build (sort of). I have narrowed the race down to an Airborne Laser (Boeing 747 with a anti-ballistic missile laser in the nose) or an F-15E Strike Eagle modified to represent a modern satellite hunter. Story's pretty much written for either or, just need to determine what I will do. Any thoughts, preferences, etc?

Geez the T2? bug bites again...
As I creep along on '05 I'm scheming up the '06. Ideas...a flatbed with a GAU-8A, maybe or perhaps another Michigan based theme, defending the neighborhood.
Storyline...gotta get that done first, then comes the build (I hope).

I'm still undecided on this one since I don't have any kits I care to "fantasize" to fill the T2K6 theme.
Questions:
* The rules call for no single figure. How about a very large figure, say 1/8 or 1/6 scale? Can that figure stand alone on a base or does it need to have other figures to support it?
* Are weapons the only models that can satisfy this theme? How about "The Ring of Power" for a wild example of a secret (No, I won't make a "Ring of Power"). :-)

Well, the no one figure rule was put in so that I would not be tempted to just build a figure and call it good!
I suppose any figure with some sort of super-advanced secret weapon woul dbe ok, but I retain the right to veto it, just as a fair warning. If nothing else Trisaw, give it a go and show it off...I am not going to be TOO picky. :-)
The main idea was to have at least 2 figures in a small dio to qualify...not too hard either.
As for the secrets thing...if you can come up with plausable story, we are all listening.
