Hi all,
here is my last piece of detailing. I changed the kit driver hatch for a new type one. The drawings posted here by Epi were of tremendous help as usual. Thanks a lot mate !
More pics in the campaign gallery.
I still have one question before starting the running gear and painting the model. Should I sand away the rounded part running along the upper hull figuring the swim barrier ?
TIA

Wow! Looking good olivier. Thats some smart scratchbuilding work you got there. I love how neat it all looks-mine is looking rather scruffy-haha. I'll be sure to save these pics to my pc-more reference.
Keep up the good work-were can EPI's drawings you mentioned be found?

Thanks Jeremy,
no stretched sprue bolts here. The sand ones come from the kit original part and the very first side skirts still in the box, the nearly white are resin ones from a Legend set, the light grey come from a Grandt Line set.
I prefer using evergreen (or other brand) rod to stretching sprue so I'm sure the diameter is regular.

Sorry about the pictures guys. I re-arranged where i had them.
Here is where I store them, so if you can't seem to find them here, feel free to look here:
My Photo Bucket Album
There are under the manuals folder.
Olivier, as for the "rounded part" I sanded off mine. That is the swim bearer. It does need to come off and a channel made between the amor plate the wall of the hull. Tomorrow I will look and see if there is a good picture in the parts manual, in the mean time i will take some pics of mine and post, Besides, I added the anti slip and wanted to see what you guys think.

Hi Epi,
Roger that for the swim barrier remnants.
Have you looked at this ?
It seems that the old same story happens again, start scratchbuilding something and a plastic company will show their full model

We will see. Like every one is saying, they are wondering if it is there old kit with just the new sorues. Any hiw, I will get one for the extra parts. It looks like they will have the newer skirts. I'll be keeping an eye on it.
